Macedonian Officials abuse participants of refugee protests in Idomeni

After a series of protests in the (refugee) camp in Idomeni, GR , during the night of the 3rd to the 4th of March 2016, at around 2 AM, at least two people were beaten up by the Macedonian military as well as by the police. According to eyewitness reports, the incident happened directly at the border fence, visible to many refugees and where several were forced to watch. According to the survivors, beatings also took place behind the official containers at the border crossing. At least one of the victims were a central figure of the ongoing refugee protests of the past days in the camp of Idomeni.
